The new generation Repeated Ultra-short Pulse radiofrequency technology with micro-needles delivers the energy where it needs to go – the deeper levels of skin where we can stimulate not only collagen, we can stimulate elastin – the ‘snap-back’ quality of the skin, which makes the skin appear tighter and firmer. With the help of multiple microelectrodes, an electromagnetic energy field penetrates the dermal layer without damaging the tissue. Most patients experience minimal downtime after treatment. Some may experience slight swelling,
redness, and pinpoint bleeding right after the appointment due to a natural response, however these
may be resolved in 4-72 hours.
Compared to other treatments on the market, SylfirmX is very minimal. Patients may experience minor
prickling sensations during the treatment, which is very tolerable. We apply topical numbing cream to
help make you extremely comfortable. On average our patients rate the pain level as 2/10 (10 = most
pain).

A sunscreen with an SPF 30 can be used to protect your skin. Although you can wear makeup a day
after your treatment, we advise no makeup for the rest of the day after the treatment.

treatments are recommended spaced 4 weeks apart. During a consultation, your Medical Aesthetician
will give you an estimate of the number of treatments needed to get you the best result for your
concern and go over the treatment costs. While results can be seen immediately for skin tone and
texture, there is a cumulative improvement during each treatment with the process of collagen and
elastin regeneration increasing overtime.
The longevity of the results depends on the device opted for your treatment and the type of skin issue
being treated. In general, the results can be expected to last from 1 to 2 years. Maintenance treatment
may be needed to reap continued benefits. On Average, we recommend 1 treatment per year as we
age to maintain your results. To maintain the results of your treatment over a longer period, we always

Yes. Of course we always need to be more cautious for darker skin types. However, why SylfirmX is
different and safer for all skin types is because the needles are uninsulated. Because the needles are
uninsulated, the heat delivered through the microneedles gets to disperse into a larger area of the
skin. This is safer and more effective as more of an area gets to be treated and the heat is not
concentrated just at one pinpoint of skin where it would be at greater risk for negative complications
such as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
